„Look at your experiences in dreams to find out how you will fare at the moment of death. Examine your experience of deep dreamless sleep to discover whether you are truly awake”
Many years ago my teacher Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche offered for contemplation the fact that, assuming we live to 90, we spend a third of life asleep — so we give about thirty years to dreaming. He suggested it might be worth considering using that time for conscious transformational practices. That single thought became immensely inspiring for me.
We can therefore approach sleep in three ways: to regard it as a time for the body to regenerate; to understand the language of dreaming as a personal code of communication with the subconscious; or to set out on the journey of conscious dreaming as a journey of Consciousness — and, at the same time, of its transformation and preparation for the act of passing (death) in a conscious way.
My whole journey in search of the hidden began with a curiosity about what a dream is. Since childhood, the world of lucid dreaming fascinated me more than the reality around me. It was there that everything was more vivid, with distinct symbols and set within deep states of feeling. The human brain does not distinguish what is real from what is not, so a dream journey can be an excellent tool of insight and therapy. Studying what a dream is in waking life, and studying the act of dreaming — surrendering to the teachings that flow from it — I discovered the architecture of the subtle structures of our subconscious and of the realms of the Multiverse.
Today I teach how to practise growth through reading personal dream symbols and dream narratives, therapeutic work through the technology of dreaming, and I translate the language of dreams in the aspect of a personal reading or of collective dreaming.
Through the teachings about what a dream is and the practice of conscious dreaming, we can access the truth about ourselves — insight into all that we are yet do not know we are… into those planes of ourselves we know least about, to which, in waking life, we have very limited access. Working within dreaming, you can heal the unconscious areas of yourself, break through blocks or hidden fears, and wrap the light of awareness around the neglected, repressed inner regions.
Dream-interpretation sessions take place by phone only, after 6:00 p.m.
